This evening study of Mt Ruapehu (9175 feet) was done from a series of photos I took one evening at the Wanganui Tramping Club Hut on the Turoa side of Ruapehu.
It had been a great day getting back onto 'the mountain', and just to cap it all off, the sunset turned the whole evening sky and snowy mountain into an amazing symphony of dusky pinks, creams and purples: never-to-be-forgotten.
