When two bucks square off at each other, they usually do so at full height with forelegs tucked in close, manoeuvering for position before they strike.

This painting was created from observed fighting behaviour of domestic goats, although it does not depict any domestic breeds.   I showed it at a real classy joint exhibition at Takapuna City on Auckland's North Shore a few years ago, but I don't think the onlookers there knew what to make of it
